This song hits home for me, my mom is stage 3 breast cancer, my dads not in great health either. I’m only 22 and I’m scared I’m gonna lose my mom, or dad. My number one fear is losing my parents.. I remember having nightmares as a child where my mom disappeared, I couldn’t find her. I’d have crying spells when I woke up, then I’d frantically look for my mom, she’d then tell me “I’m not going anywhere Katie”. Then sometimes I think of my childhood, my childhood was horrible.. I was raped at 15 and I suffer from PTSD, psychosis, major depressive disorder, severe anxiety disorder etc. sometimes I still think “where we’re you” why wasn’t God here when I needed him most growing up, why can’t I feel anything as I pray for my mom, praying for everything to be ok…
